What is the Procedure?
Quotation
We can then talk with you about your architectural design plans and requirements. We would then be able to send a quotation for our architectural services. Our quotation will show all the services included to produce detailed plans from submission of the applications.
Initial Survey
If you accept our quotation, we will complete a full survey for you of the property. Talking over the project in more detail.
Sketches
We can then draw architectural plans as sketches of your proposed extension. This gives an idea on layouts and views, at this stage changes can be made until you confirm they are ready to send for approval.
Planning Permissions
We would then submit to the local council for planning permission (if required, certain works/extensions are exempt, we can advise on this on our initial visit). We then liaise with the planning officer as required to obtain planning permission.
Building Regulations
Once planning permission has been granted, we add further in-depth detail to our architectural plans to include correct build materials and structural details. The Building Regulation plans are then submitted to Building Control to approve before the build can start.
